Dear all,
This is very sad news and I would like to extend condolences from all at the Met Office to the family and friends of Adriano. In my conversations with Adriano he always demonstrated extreme professionalism and complete competence in the IT field, as well as a gentle humour. It was clear that he was always focussed on improving SPADA and would always entertain suggestions for how this should be done, even when we (I) suggested improvements that he probably thought were not good ideas!
He will be missed.
In caring sympathy,
Anton, Helen, Jo, Gavin and all at the Met Office
